Enhancing performance,
health and wellness
Michelle is a Certified Clinical Counsellor and a professional member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She provides trauma therapy for individuals aged 11 to 90, drawing from EMDR, TF-CBT, and NET. Her approach is culturally safe, trauma-focused, and grounded in an integrated systems perspective to support individuals, couples, families, and communities.
In addition to therapy, Michelle assists parents navigating separation and divorce, helping them determine parenting arrangements. She is an Associate Mediator with BC Mediate and a professional member of Family Mediation Canada. She fosters open communication and collaboration to achieve meaningful and sustainable resolutions.
Born and raised in Prince George, BC, Michelle is a proud mother of four and grandmother of six. She enjoys staying active outdoors and connecting deeply with others. With over 14 years of specialized experience, she is dedicated to creating safe, open environments that facilitate meaningful conversations and transformative change within families, businesses, and organizations.
Throughout her career, Michelle has helped individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts, self-harm, depression, and anxiety develop emotional resilience, self-control, and a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. She engages family and community systems in transformative healing processes and has played a key role in improving organizational dynamics—collaborating with teams to shift toxic environments into positive, thriving workplaces. She has also facilitated cross-sectoral working groups, healing circles, and co-parenting collaborations that prioritize children's well-being.
Beyond her clinical and mediation work, Michelle has contributed to various advisory groups, including those representing small business and tourism (Canadian Forest Products) and School District 57 councils. She has coached children and youth at the YMCA, Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, Hallis Ski Club, and Cedars Christian School.
Michelle is also passionate about enhancing the well-being of seniors. She collaborated with BC Community Response Networks and participated in a United Way focus group to develop and deliver "Better-at-Home," a social service program designed to help seniors live independently and comfortably.
At the heart of her work, Michelle is deeply committed to fostering well-being for all.
